Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full Time Permanent Cleaner / KP (Kitchen Porter) to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of kitchen areas, including floors, surfaces, appliances, and utensils to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining smooth operations.
- Handle dishwashing duties efficiently, ensuring all cookware, cutlery, and crockery are sanitized and ready for use.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining spaces by clearing tables, sweeping floors, and organizing serving stations.
- Support the setup and breakdown of dining areas for service periods, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and accidents within the kitchen and dining zones.
- Restock supplies such as cleaning products, utensils, and consumables to ensure seamless daily operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen support roles is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures specific to hospitality or restaurant environments.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen staff and hospitality teams.
- Prior experience in hotel or restaurant settings is a plus but not mandatory.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary support and hospitality services.
