We are looking for someone to work in our shop on Mondays 06:30 to 13:30 and Thursdays 12:00 to 18:00 with additional adhoc days/hours to cover holidays/absence and business needs (these would mainly be communicated in the last week of every month for the following month - please note Saturdays could be part of these).
There is a possibility of more permanent hours covering tasks within our wholesale business; these would be discussed at interview.

The ideal candidate must:
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Have good personal presentation and hygiene
- Be able to meet the physical demands of the role

- Be flexible, working additional hours or covering holiday if needed, to support the business
- Be a quick learner and comfortable learning on the job
Food retail experience is preferable, but not a necessity as we look for personality and a passion for customer service, above all else.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Helping to load/unload produce from the fridges for opening
- Cleaning the produce trays, shelving, mirrors before open
- Supporting the managers with opening the shop
- Greeting and getting to know each customer, making them feel at home
- Providing excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Processing all sales politely, efficiently, and accurately
- Ensuring produce is rotated and stocked up accordingly, disposing of packaging appropriately
- Supporting stock take monitoring and waste management
- Closing the shop, loading produce into the fridges and cashing up the tills
- Helping with designing and setting up seasonal displays
- Promoting seasonal produce to help meet weekly sales targets
