Thorn Baker Construction is currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner to work on a busy construction project in York.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled and reliable Joiner, with 12 weeks’ work available.
The successful candidate will be carrying out a range of joinery duties, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Typical duties include:

General joinery works.

First and second fix joinery.

Hanging doors and fitting door frames.

Installing skirting boards and architraves.
-
General finishing and snagging works.
-
Reading and working from drawings.
-
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Valid CSCS Card.

Previous experience working as a Joiner on construction sites.

Own tools and PPE.

Good attention to detail and high standard of workmanship.

Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 12 weeks’ work.
