Healthii People are seeking dedicated and experienced Level 2 Nursery Practitioner's to assist our client across the Bristol area. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children within a nurturing environment. Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and educational activities tailored to the individual needs of children aged from birth to five years.
- Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through engaging activities and positive interactions.
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate learning programmes in line with early childhood education frameworks.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times by adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
- Foster effective communication with parents and carers regarding children's progress and daily routines.
- Support team members in creating an inclusive, welcoming environment that promotes learning through play.
- Contribute to the organisation of nursery activities, outings, and special events as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and childcare regulations.
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills to support team cohesion and effective practice.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team whilst also demonstrating initiative independently.
- Valid childcare qualifications relevant to Level 2 Nursery Practitioner standards or equivalent recognised training.
- A caring attitude with genuine enthusiasm for working with children.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
