Overview
We are currently seeking Casual Pallbearers/Drivers to join our professional team on a zero-hours basis (as and when required). This role involves assisting with funerals by carrying coffins, driving hearses, limousines, and other vehicles as required, and representing the company with dignity and respect at all times.
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, including those with experience in the Armed Forces, Police, Fire, or Ambulance Services, as well as individuals from other professional or community roles who value teamwork, reliability, and respect.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving hearses, limousines, and other funeral vehicles as required
- Carrying coffins and assisting with funeral processions
- Supporting the funeral director and colleagues during services
- Maintaining a smart appearance and calm, respectful manner
- Working flexibly depending on funeral schedules
Requirements
- Physically able to lift and carry as part of a team
- Professional, respectful, and punctual
- Smart presentation (uniform provided)
- Ability to work as part of a close-knit team

Responsibilities
- Washing and cleaning vehicles to showroom standard
- Excellent timekeeping skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good levels of fitness (lifting is required)
- Chauffeuring mourner's to and from the crematorium, cemeteries and churches
- Be apart of out of hours on call rota, if required
- Please NOTE this is a casual position (as and when required)
Experience
- Must be over 25 years old (for insurance purposes)
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Willing to undergo DBS
