Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service/Callout Engineer to join our dynamic team working on a walking route in London covering approx. 80 units. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and maintenance services for our products. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance and servicing of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Install, test, and commission new equipment as per company standards.
- Provide training and support to customers on the proper use of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and service delivery.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology to enhance service offerings.
Qualifications
- Minimum NVQ L3 Maintenance & Repair
- Proven experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar technical role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety protocols
