JJob Summary
We are seeking three frelance dedicated and knowledgeable instructors to join our team as SIA-Certified Trainers in Door Supervision (DS), Security Officer (SO), CCTV (optional), and Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW). The ideal candidates will have a passion for teaching, a solid understanding of security operations and first aid, and the ability to engage diverse learners effectively. This is a self-employed role, ideal for professionals looking to make a real impact by empowering others with essential skills and qualifications.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and high-quality DS, SO, refreshers ,CCTV and EFAW training sessions to individuals and groups, including corporate clients, community organizations, and education providers.
- Develop, adapt, and maintain training materials in line with current regulations and industry best practices.
- Assess learners through practical exercises and written evaluations to ensure competence and confidence.
- Offer constructive feedback and mentorship to help learners improve performance and understanding.
- Keep accurate records of attendance, assessments, and certification outcomes.
- Stay updated with industry developments, including changes to SIA and first aid regulations.
- Collaborate with the training team to enhance programme quality and learner experience.
Requirements & Experience
- Proven experience as a Door Supervisor Trainer , Security Trainer, First Aid Instructor, or in a similar teaching role.
- SIA-approved qualifications for Door Supervision and Security Officer training are required.
- Experience or qualification in CCTV training is desirable but not essential.
- Must have recognized SIA DS Security (SIA Licence (Front Line) ,Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET), or PPTLS,Level 3 Award in Deliverers of Physical Intervention Training, Level 3 (or higher) all of them are mendatory.
- Desireable Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (CET) or higher (e.g., PGCE or DTLLS), Assessors Qualification: e.g., Level 3 Award but not necessary.
- First Aid Qualification, Door Supervisor,and first aid instructor certification (e.g., Level 3 Award in EFAW Instruction).
- Strong knowledge of emergency response protocols, CPR, and HSE-compliant training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to teach complex topics clearly.
- Comfortable working with learners from varied professional and cultural backgrounds.
Pay: £130.00-£160.00 per day
