Position Overview
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing sales operations within an assigned territory, managing key customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets through strategic business development activities. The role requires a proactive individual with strong negotiation skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to develop long-term partnerships with clients.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, account management teams, and operational departments to ensure consistent business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and commercial negotiations
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery
- Manage regional accounts and improve client retention rates
- Support contract renewals and pricing discussions
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, and industry meetings when required
- Maintain CRM records and sales documentation accurately
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Management, or related discipline preferred
- Proven experience in regional sales, business development, or account management
- Strong understanding of B2B sales environments
- Valid UK driving licence preferred due to regional travel requirements
