Role: Warehouse Operative
Location: Droitwich
Salary: £12.71 per hour, plus quarterly performance bonus
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Working hours are based on a two-week rotating shift pattern:
Week 1
Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break
Friday: 8:30 AM–2:00 PM, with no lunch break
Week 2
Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break
Friday: 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break
Responsibilities
- Receiving Goods: Unloading, inspecting, and recording shipments (including manual unloading of containers).
- Order Fulfilment: Picking, packing, and preparing items for dispatch.
- Cleanliness: Maintaining a tidy work environment.
- Equipment Use: Operating forklifts/pump trucks safely.
Required Skills/Qualifications
Essential:
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Physical fitness (capable of heavy lifting up to 25kg).
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail in processing and records.
- Adaptability to take on various tasks and learn.
- Preferred: Forklift licence (FLT).
