Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Guest Experience: Greet guests warmly and take drink orders with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Beverage Preparation: Craft and serve a variety of beverages—including signature cocktails, wines, spirits, soft drinks, and specialty hot drinks—adhering to exact recipes and food safety standards.
- Bar Operations: Maintain exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, and organization across the bar area to ensure a safe, efficient, and inviting work environment.
- Till Management: Manage cash register and card transactions accurately, using basic math skills for billing and change handling.
- Responsible Service: Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving practices and ensure full compliance with legal alcohol service regulations.
- Stock & Inventory: Restock bar supplies, ice, glassware, and garnishes efficiently during shifts to keep the service area fully equipped for busy periods.
- Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with front-of-house and floor staff to ensure prompt service and a smooth guest experience from start to finish.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Strong background in hospitality or restaurant environments, with a genuine passion for exceptional customer service (cocktail or bar preparation experience is a strong plus!).
- Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices.
- Efficiency: Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders smoothly during peak hours and live event nights.
- Composure: Ability to stay calm, organised, and friendly under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Communication: Clear, warm communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- Basic Numeracy: Confidence handling cash and electronic payments accurately.
