We are seeking a reliable and professional Van Delivery Driver to join our team. Duties
- Safely operate a company van to deliver packages and goods to designated addresses within the scheduled timeframe
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimise time and fuel consumption
- Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed off by recipients
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, often involving bulky or heavy items
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Good organisational skills to manage schedules and routes efficiently
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
