The Barn Nursery is looking for a confident, organised and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our team of professional practitioners in the delivery of Outstanding care and learning experiences for our children at our nursery near Thaxted.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and support the nursery team, promoting high standards of care and education
· Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with all safeguarding and EYFS requirements
· Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and staff
· Manage staffing, rotas, training, and performance
· Maintain accurate records, policies, and procedures
· Drive continuous improvement in learning outcomes and nursery experience
· Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy targets
Requirements:
· Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum); Level 5+ desirable
· Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
· Previous nursery leadership experience
· Excellent communication, organisation, and team-management skills
· Passion for providing high-quality early years care

This is a year round, full time position to cover hours between 7.45am - 6.15pm , Monday - Friday. Part time hours may be considered.
