Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Operative to join our dynamic warehouse team. Duties
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Manage stock levels using warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring accurate inventory control
- Handle materials with care, including picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment or storage
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to health and safety regulations
- Support stock replenishment activities through stocking shelves and organizing storage areas
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience demonstrating familiarity with inventory management and logistics operations
- Valid forklift certification with proven experience operating forklifts in a busy environment
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety procedures in a warehouse setting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in picking, packing, shipping, and receiving tasks
- HGV class 1 would be desired but not essential.

Pay: £13.00-£14.80 per hour
