Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective coaching strategies tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams.
- Conduct regular training sessions, ensuring that all participants are engaged and learning effectively.
- Educate athletes on the rules, techniques, and strategies of the sport.
- Monitor the progress of athletes, providing constructive feedback to enhance their performance.
- Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among all participants.
- Organise and oversee competitive events, ensuring that all logistical aspects are managed effectively.
- Maintain a safe training environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding athlete development and progress.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sports coaching or a related field is essential.
- A minimum of FA Level 1 in Coaching Football, or sport equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of the sport being coached, including rules, techniques, and strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate athletes.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required for training sessions and competitions.
- A passion for sports and a commitment to fostering a love for physical activity among participants.
