Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of food items in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Assist with cooking and meal preparation to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or table
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card transactions as required
- Restock supplies and ensure all ingredients are stored correctly
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
- Uphold high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety throughout the café environment
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen work is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and hygiene standards
- Previous restaurant or café experience is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour when serving customers
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary practices
