Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team here at MedTeam. In this vital role, you will provide expert mental health care, support recovery, and promote well-being for individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges.

Duties
- Deliver comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized care plans in a Hospital / Community Care Setting.
- Administer medication and monitor patient responses in accordance with prescribed treatments
- Support patients through therapeutic activities, ensuring their emotional and psychological needs are met
- Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of patient progress, interventions, and care outcomes
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate effective treatment strategies
- Promote patient safety by implementing risk assessments and managing crisis situations promptly and effectively
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies to foster understanding and resilience
Experience / Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in a clinical setting, ideally in NHS Hospital / Community Care Environments
- Band 5 Plus Level
- Restraint Training in place for PMVA / TMVA / NHS equivalent
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to mental health conditions and treatments
- Demonstrated ability to deliver patient-centred care with empathy and professionalism
- Familiarity with mental health legislation, safeguarding procedures, and clinical best practices
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
