We are seeking a proactive HIL Configuration Engineer to own the setup, configuration, and maintenance of our dSPACE HIL test benches. In this role, you will bridge the gap between hardware and software, ensuring our validation environments are robust and ready to test next-generation embedded control systems (ICE & Electric Powertrain).
Key Responsibilities
dSPACE Management: Configure, integrate, and maintain dSPACE HIL systems for ECU validation.
Signal & Hardware Setup: Manage signal routing, I/O mapping, interface boards (BOBs, FIUs), and HIL harness design.
Model Integration: Integrate real-time plant models (powertrain, e-motors, vehicle dynamics) using MATLAB/Simulink.
Network & Tools: Set up automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN) and calibration tools (ControlDesk, INCA, CANalyzer).
Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex hardware/software integration issues and perform root cause analysis.
Automation & Docs: Develop Python/MATLAB configuration scripts for bench automation and maintain technical documentation.
What You Bring (Requirements)
Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or similar.
Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with dSPACE HIL systems.
EE Expertise: Solid knowledge of automotive E/E systems, electrical schematics, PCBs, and lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, Soldering).
Testing Skills: Experience with fault injection, failure mode testing, and defect logging/analysis.
Software Toolkit: Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and version control (Git/SVN).
Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication in English.
