Nursery Administrator - Cirencester
20–25 Hours Per Week | 4 or 5 Days | Nursery Based

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Nursery Administrator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in helping things run smoothly for children, families and staff.
Based in the nursery office, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations, acting as a first point of contact for parents and visitors, and ensuring administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
What you'll be doing
- Managing parent enquiries by phone, email and in person
- Supporting parent accounts and helping families with queries relating to bookings, payments and nursery administration
- Assisting with invoicing and processing nursery fees
- Maintaining accurate child and family records
- Supporting staff administration
- Preparing and updating nursery documentation and reports
- Assisting with registrations and waiting list administration
- Ensuring records are maintained in line with nursery policies and procedures
- Supporting compliance requirements, including safeguarding and data protection processes
- Ordering office supplies and helping to manage general office administration
- Providing administrative support to the leadership team as required
- Helping to create a welcoming and professional experience for families and visitors
About you
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in an administrative, office or customer service role
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office and administrative systems
- Professional, approachable and able to communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise a busy workload
- Discreet and trustworthy when handling sensitive information
- Positive, flexible and willing to support the wider nursery team
Desirable but not essential
- Experience of invoicing, accounts administration or fee management
- Previous experience working within a nursery, school or childcare environment
- An understanding of GDPR and handling confidential information
- Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities within an early years setting
