Job Overview
We are seeking an amazing GDC registered Dental/Decontamination Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
- Provide chairside support to patients, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including treatment plans and medical histories.
- Sterilise instruments and manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle administrative tasks on reception as needed.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient practice operations and high-quality patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest dental technologies and practices through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications.
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with patients and colleagues.
- Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems, preferably dentally experience.
- 4 years experience in patient care within a dental setting is essential
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A compassionate attitude towards patients and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
