We are looking for an experienced and reliable Damper Testing & Remedials Technician to join our team, based in the Scunthorpe/Doncaster area, working on projects nationwide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, surveying, inspecting and carrying out remedial works to fire and smoke damper installations across a variety of commercial and industrial sites throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* • Carry out inspection, testing and surveying of fire and smoke dampers.
* • Identify faults, defects and installation issues.
* • Complete remedial and corrective works to damper installations.
* • Produce accurate reports and documentation following site visits.
* • Work to relevant industry standards and company procedures.
* • Liaise professionally with clients and site teams.
* • Travel nationwide, with overnight stays required when necessary.
* • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and health & safety at all times.
The Ideal Candidate
* • Previous experience with fire/smoke dampers, ventilation systems or associated remedial works.
* • Strong practical and fault-finding skills.
* • Able to work independently and manage work on multiple sites.
* • Good attention to detail and accurate reporting skills.
* • Full UK driving licence.
* • Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required.
* • CSCS or relevant site qualifications would be advantageous.
* • IPAF/PASMA or other relevant qualifications would be an advantage.

Pay: £35,000.00-£37,500.00 per year
