opportunity to work within small team of bathroom Fitters.
Experience in the following desirable :
Minor plumbing works such as capping off.
Drywall methods and subfloor preparation.
Studwall construction methods.
Removing existing fixtures and fittings including wall and floor tiles.
Minor decoration works.
Willing to learn and progress.
This is a self employed position and you must have a valid UTR number. The role will involve additional work including but not limited to ripping out of whole bathrooms. Tidying and clearing up of properties. Generally within HD postcodes but on occasion will need to travel to outer areas West Yorkshire.
Ideally looking for someone willing to get involved and learn the whole trade of bathroom installation.
You will be working in peoples homes and as such are expected to be respectful, trustworthy and polite at all times.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential properties.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Assist with the assembly of plumbing components and fixtures.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during operations.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met on schedule.
