Overview
We are seeking a Full-time dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant. Primarily based in our Sandwich Room, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards, also assisting in packing of all products for distribution. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that high-quality products are produced consistently.
Your working week is Sunday to Thursday 6am to 2pm.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and production of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery workspace in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Operate bakery equipment safely and effectively.
- Adhere to HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety throughout the production process.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is preferred but not essential.
- Understanding of food safety principles and practices is advantageous.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is essential.
