About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide practical, emotional and person-centred support to women and children living in our safe accommodation. You'll help residents rebuild confidence, regain independence and move towards a safer, more positive future.
Working alongside partner agencies, you'll manage your own caseload, complete support sessions, develop support plans and advocate for residents to ensure they receive the support they need.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one support sessions and welfare checks.
- Develop and review support plans and risk assessments.
- Support residents to access housing, benefits, healthcare, education and other services.
- Work alongside professionals including social workers, local authorities, health services and domestic abuse agencies.
- Maintain accurate case notes and records.
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and independence.
- Support residents to achieve positive outcomes and move on successfully.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for compassionate, motivated people who genuinely want to make a difference. You may already have experience supporting vulnerable adults, or you may be looking to build your career within supported housing.
Experience in one or more of the following areas would be beneficial:
- Domestic abuse
- Mental health
- Drug and alcohol support
- Homelessness or housing support
- Mother and baby services
- Safeguarding vulnerable adults and children
You don't need experience in every area. We understand that everyone brings different skills and backgrounds, and we're committed to helping you develop your knowledge and confidence.

Pay: £24,420.00-£32,000.00 per year
