Domestic Operative – Rotherham
Salary: £26,365 / Hours: 39 per week / Contract type: Full-Time, Temporary

Main Purpose: The main responsibility of the role is to carry out the cleaning and maintaining of Target Housing properties and offices. The ideal candidate will have experience cleaning premises and will be responsible for general facility cleaning.
Specific Tasks & Responsibilities
- Clean communal areas in Target Housing properties as set by a rota
- Clean void properties and be part of the team to get the property to a lettable standard.
- Clean Target offices
- Allow access to Contractors/Landlords
- To assist with the management of stock.
- Complete appropriate Health and Safety checks, ensure logged, captured and reported back to Property Admin Manager
- Ensure that any health and safety or repair issues are recorded and communicated to Maintenance admin team
- Ensure correct Health and Safety Posters are up to date and displayed in properties
- Undertake training as required
- Understand and implement all Target’s Policy and Procedures
- To have access to and fully understand the risks posed by and report any risks identified Property Admin Manager.
- Understand confidentiality and its implications for the company’s work with Clients
- Any other such duties as required by Target Housing
- Able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions
- You have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, with adaptability to change and varying work priorities
- You will have excellent reliability & flexibility as a team member, committed to excellent levels of punctuality and attendance
- A full driving licence is essential
Qualifications / Requirements:
- A valid UK driving license.
- A good awareness of Health & Safety working practices, COSHH, RIDDOR etc.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Work to tight deadlines/targets.
