About Parksafe Group
Parksafe Group is a leading provider of vehicle safety, security and connected technology solutions, operating across the UK and Europe. Through our brands Parksafe, IROAD, ZONE AI, OnDemand and Parksafe Connect, we deliver innovative solutions designed to improve vehicle safety, prevent incidents and provide customers with greater visibility and control of their fleets.
Our solutions combine vehicle cameras, AI-powered safety technology, video telematics, tracking, connected services and bespoke hardware installations across commercial vehicles, HGVs, plant, forklifts and specialist vehicles.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team and take ownership of the successful delivery of technical projects, whilst also providing technical support to our Sales team throughout the customer journey.
The Role
The Technical Project Manager will play a key role in taking customer projects from initial opportunity and technical specification through to implementation, delivery and customer sign-off.
Working closely with our Sales, Engineering, Operations, Product and Customer Service teams, you will ensure projects are clearly scoped, technically achievable, commercially viable and delivered on time.
A key element of the role will be customer-facing technical support. You will regularly work alongside our Sales team in customer meetings, helping to understand technical requirements, demonstrate solutions, answer technical questions and build confidence in the proposed solution.
You will therefore need to be comfortable not only managing projects, but also representing Parksafe Group in front of customers and helping Sales convert technically complex opportunities into successful projects.
The role will have a competitive basic salary plus commission based on projects successfully delivered, providing the opportunity to increase earnings through both project performance and contribution to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Take ownership of technical projects from initial specification through to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones and key deliverables.
- Coordinate internal departments, suppliers, engineers and installation partners.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Identify project risks, issues and dependencies and put appropriate actions in place.
- Maintain clear project documentation and provide regular progress updates.
- Ensure projects remain within agreed scope and commercial requirements.
- Manage changes to project requirements and communicate their impact on cost, timescale and delivery.
- Coordinate customer sign-off and successful project handover.
Sales & Customer Support
- Work alongside the Sales team on technically complex customer opportunities.
- Attend customer meetings, presentations and site visits where technical input is required.
- Help Sales understand and qualify customer technical requirements.
- Provide technical advice and recommend appropriate solutions from the Parksafe Group product portfolio.
- Present and demonstrate products and solutions to customers.
- Answer technical questions and provide confidence around solution capability and implementation.
- Assist with technical specifications, proposals and project quotations.
- Identify additional technical opportunities, upselling and cross-selling opportunities where appropriate.
- Support the Sales team through the transition from opportunity to project delivery.
- Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
Technical Specification & Solution Design
- Translate customer requirements into clear technical specifications.
- Assess vehicle types, applications, operating environments and customer requirements.
- Develop appropriate hardware, software and connected technology solutions.
- Coordinate the integration of cameras, AI systems, telematics, tracking and connected services.

- Ensure installation teams have the correct equipment, technical information and configuration requirements.
- Manage large-scale fleet rollouts and phased deployments.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning of systems.
- Ensure installations meet agreed technical and quality standards.
- Manage issues identified during installation and ensure they are resolved efficiently.
- Coordinate final customer acceptance and project handover.

- IROAD dash cameras.
- AI Birdseye / 360° camera systems.
- ZONE AI pedestrian and vulnerable road user detection.
- OnDemand video telematics.
- Parksafe Connect connected services.
- Vehicle tracking and driver-related solutions.
- Monitors, sensors and vehicle safety equipment.
- Bespoke hardware and software solutions.

- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Track project performance against agreed KPIs.
- Produce project status reports for management.
- Monitor project costs, timelines, installation quality and customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes.
- Develop standardised project processes, checklists and documentation.
- Conduct post-project reviews and implement lessons learned.
- Identify recurring technical issues and work with the relevant teams to improve products and processes.

The successful candidate will have an important role in helping Parksafe Group win, deliver and grow technical projects.
You will work closely with the Sales team to ensure we understand the customer's requirements, provide the right technical solution and demonstrate the value of our technology.
The role therefore combines:
