Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Conveyancer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring smooth and efficient conveyancing processes. The successful candidate will run a caseload from inception to conclusion
You will need to be a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licenced Conveyancer with a minimum of 5 years PQE
Responsibilities
- Managing all aspects of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
- Providing clear and effective communication to clients, estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders throughout the conveyancing process.
- Preparing and reviewing legal documentation such as contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage instructions.
- Conducting property searches, enquiries, and liaising with external solicitors or authorities as necessary.
- Organising and maintaining accurate case files in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Managing deadlines efficiently to ensure timely completion of transactions.
- Utilising IT systems effectively to track case progress and update relevant parties accordingly.
Experience
- Experience of dealing with sale and purchase of registered and unregistered property
- Both Freehold and Leasehold and plot purchases is essential
- good understanding of CQS and being able to work as a part of a team..
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Good time management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive approach with strong organisational abilities to ensure smooth workflow and client satisfaction.
