Overview
We are seeking 2 dedicated Painting and Decorating Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various painting and decorating tasks on construction sites and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will be reliable, physically fit, and eager to develop their skills in the construction industry. Previous experience in construction painting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites, but also not essential.

Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and scraping areas to ensure a smooth finish
- Assist with applying paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment under supervision
- Support the team in general preparation prior to painting
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and used safely
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks efficiently
- Assist with general site duties such as moving materials and clearing work areas as required
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of construction painting techniques is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual labour over extended periods is very important.
- Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between multiple sites but not essential
- Reliable, punctual, and organised with a strong work ethic is very important and a must .
