The Role
As our Kitchen Team Leader, you'll help create fresh, homemade food using quality local ingredients, deliver consistent service for busy days and events, and help create memorable food experiences for visitors and guests.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating fresh, homemade food using quality local ingredients
- Delivering consistent service for busy days and events
- Taking a lead in the kitchen when needed
- Planning ahead, staying organised, and keeping standards high
- Supporting catering for occasional events and functions
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and volunteers
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a catering, cooking or chef role
- Loves cooking for people and thrives in a busy kitchen
- Takes pride in quality and presentation
- Can lead calmly and positively
- Is organised, reliable and able to work independently
- Enjoys being part of a supportive team
- Holds a Food Hygiene qualification (or is willing to obtain one)
