Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pizza station, adhering to food safety regulations
- Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times to achieve optimal results
- Assist in the preparation of other menu items as required
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all pizzas served
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times, including proper handling of food and equipment
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment
- Prior experience working as a pizza chef or in a similar culinary role is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Familiarity with meal preparation, kitchen equipment, and culinary techniques relevant to pizza making
- Experience working in a fast-paced setting with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
