Nursery Manager – Full Time/Part Time
Our Registered Childcare Provider in Blackheath is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead our small, friendly team in a private early‑years setting. We care for children aged 6 months to 5 years and pride ourselves on offering an active, nurturing and engaging environment.
The successful candidate will:
- be a confident, positive leader who supports staff and builds strong relationships with families
- have excellent spoken and written English
- have at least 12 months management or senior nursery experience
- be energetic, organised, enthusiastic and creative, happy to get involved in messy play and outdoor activities
- hold Level 3 or above in childcare
- have strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
- be able to manage daily operations, staff rotas, planning, observations and compliance
- ensure a warm, stimulating environment where children can explore, learn and develop independence
We are an active setting. Our children enjoy soft play, playgrounds, music classes, parks and regular trips to the Zoo, Aquarium and Farms. We believe children thrive when they are active, curious and supported by a confident, caring team.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm.
