Overview
We are looking for a dedicated individual to take on the role of <PERSON>/waitress and dispatch. In this lively position, you will be the friendly face greeting guests, taking orders, serving food, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. You will also assist with dispatch duties to ensure smooth operations behind the scenes. This paid position offers a dynamic work environment where your enthusiasm and hospitality skills will shine.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or manually
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Assist with food preparation and ensure food safety standards are met
- Manage dispatch tasks by coordinating with kitchen staff and delivery personnel to ensure timely service
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, workstations, and service stations at all times
Requirements
- Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation skills
- Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to perform basic math for handling transactions accurately
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
