We are excited to announce the opening of Flying Horse Coffee in Hackney and are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated team members to join our new café. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items in accordance with company standards
- Ensure all food safety regulations are strictly followed to maintain hygiene and quality standards
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, taking orders accurately and delivering exceptional customer care
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including assembling ingredients and maintaining cleanliness of workstations
- Manage cash register operations, including handling payments accurately using basic maths skills
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality
- Support team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations and an enjoyable customer experience
Experience
- Previous barista experience or background in serving food and beverages is highly desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
