About the Role:
Our client is seeking a skilled TIG Welder Fabricator to join their growing team in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to work on a variety of bespoke fabrication projects, producing high-quality components to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel
- Fabricate and assemble components from engineering drawings
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard with strong attention to detail
- Perform quality checks and ensure accuracy of finished products
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Work both independently and collaboratively within the team
Requirements:
- Proven experience in TIG welding and fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good understanding of fabrication techniques and materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills:
- Relevant welding or fabrication qualifications
- Experience with coded welding
- Knowledge of additional welding methods such as MIG or Stick
