Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional service, and a comprehensive understanding of bar and restaurant functions. Duties
- Supervise the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth service during shifts
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the bar area
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and beverages
- Train new staff on service procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
- Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally to uphold the establishment’s reputation
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and support professional development initiatives
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production and handling
- Familiarity with serving techniques and hospitality principles
- Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills
- Previous experience as a barista or in hotel or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills with an approachable manner
