Heavy Plant Fitter
Excellent opportunity to join our market-leading company Bay-Lynx Manufacturing UK Inc Ltd Bay-Lynx are a well-established company that work with some of the largest names in the industry. We are looking for an experienced heavy plant engineer to conduct the servicing, maintenance and repair of heavy plant machinery.
The candidate will need to have experience working on heavy machinery and be confident in the repair and maintenance, candidates from Recycling Industry plant hire/rental companies and construction manufacturers will be prioritised! Must have “Will do, Can do attitude” and the ability to work unsupervised.
The candidate will ideally have an NVQ in Plant / HGV / Agriculture (or relevant discipline) but this is not essential - we are after someone who can hit the ground running!
Requirements:
3-5 years' experience in heavy plant repair and maintenance
NVQ in relevant discipline (advantageous)
Summary
As a Heavy Plant Fitter, you will be a vital team member responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy plant equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy plant equipment such as excavators and forklifts.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge and skills to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.
- Use hand and power tools to assemble, repair, and maintain various plant machinery.
- Apply welding and fabrication techniques when necessary for equipment repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance needs promptly and efficiently.
- Safely handle heavy lifting tasks as required during equipment maintenance and repair processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
