We're looking for an experienced, QTS-qualified education professional to provide professional oversight and quality assurance across our Education Service. Working on a flexible basis, you'll be the senior education voice in the team, mentoring our Education Coordinators, protecting standards and outcomes, and helping shape how the service grows.
This is a role for someone who wants to keep making a difference to children's education without carrying a full classroom timetable, offering guidance, oversight and professional expertise where it matters most.
What you'll do
- Provide professional oversight and quality assurance of the Education Service
- Mentor and support our Education Coordinators, offering guidance, advice and professional oversight
- Quality-assure educational assessments, reports and professional records to a consistently high standard
- Develop and oversee education support plans and interventions for children accessing alternative provision
- Liaise with schools, local authorities and other professionals to promote positive outcomes for every child
- Uphold and advise on safeguarding, attendance and behaviour management in line with current education legislation
- Contribute to service development, policy and ongoing quality improvement
- Attend team meetings and provide oversight and support as required
About you
Essential
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent education qualification
- Experience working in education, particularly with children who have additional needs or are vulnerable
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding, attendance, behaviour management and education legislation
- Experience supporting children who are not accessing mainstream education or who require alternative provision
- Experience completing educational assessments, reports and professional records to a high standard
- Ability to oversee, quality-assure and provide professional oversight to an education team
- Confidence liaising with schools, local authorities and other professionals
- Strong organisational and communication skills

- Experience mentoring or supervising education staff
- Experience contributing to service development, policies and quality improvement
- Experience delivering or developing education support plans and interventions
Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
