UK Project Services Group is seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer in London to drive our CI/CD platform automation, cloud infrastructure reliability, and developer experience initiatives. Working across cross-functional engineering teams, you will architect secure, scalable cloud environments and streamline software delivery pipelines for enterprise client project portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate multi-cloud environment provisioning and lifecycle management using Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation.
- CI/CD Pipeline Automation: Design, build, and optimize robust continuous integration and delivery pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Manage, scale, and secure production microservices deployed on Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
- Site Reliability & Observability: Monitor platform health, implement automated alerting frameworks using Prometheus/Grafana/Datadog, and lead incident management.
- Security & Governance: Enforce Zero Trust security principles, IAM controls, and DevSecOps automated security scans compliant with ISO 27001 and UK GDPR standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or Infrastructure Automation Specialist.
- Deep technical expertise with public cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and Terraform.
- Strong hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Operational scripting capabilities using Python, Bash, or Go.
- Desirable: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
