We are looking for a reliable, experienced Machine Mover/Installer to work from our Scottish Branch based in Bellshill. Works are primarily in the Central Belt of Scotland but may be required to cover works throughout the whole of Scotland, the UK & in rare occasions within Europe. Some travel will be required.
The work involved is typically machinery installations/removals, factory moves, heavy or technical lifting projects or any project requiring the movement of machinery, plant and associated ancillaries.
The content of the projects can include any or all the following disciplines: - heavy lifting, mechanical assembly/disassembly, electrical works, industrial pipework, shipping, packing, demolition or any other required activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Working to pre-prepared RAMS
- Adhering to relevant health & safety rules & requirements
- Correct use of tools & lifting/handling equipment
- Assembly & disassembly of machinery, plant & equipment
- Jacking, skating, hoisting, skidding various loads
- Working within set time budgets
- Complete relevant company paperwork relating to safety & assets
- Ensuring the correct presentation of yourself & your equipment
