Front of house Full Time 35-40hrs accross 5 shifts - Sugardough Bakery Hove
We are looking for applicants with solid front of hourse experience to join our lovely front of house team in our fabulous Hove bakery. We need someone with food service or waiting experience, strong barista skills and great energy. We are looking for someone with a fast, friendly and confident approach, a genuine love of hospitality, great coffee and great food. All applicants must have experience in a busy cafe/food environment. The role is full time 5 shifts per week, including weekdays and weekends. This role is unlikely to be suitable for students.
We don’t do stiff formal service, just attentive, friendly & fast service. We are a local bakery and you need to be able to build rapport with our regular customers. You must be energetic, have personality and make seriously good cofee. You must be able to sell our food - please note we use a lot of gluten, organic eggs, butter and cream.
Applicants MUST be available to work across weekends, school holidays as well as shifts during the week. Morning shifts start at 7.30am and afternoon shifts finish at approx. 6.30pm. Please do not apply if you are unable to work these hours or weekends.
You must have the following experience:
· Previous experience working in a busy customer focused food environment
· Strong barista skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Excellent communication and organisational skills
· A professional manner and be very presentable
· Excellent written and spoken English
· You must also be eligible to work full time in the UK
