We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial and custodial services, with the ability to perform various cleaning tasks efficiently. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across office areas and common spaces
- Utilize specialized cleaning equipment such as buffers and floor care machines to maintain floors in optimal condition
- Conduct detailed cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and break rooms to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and fixtures as needed
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables
- Follow safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks related to facilities upkeep when necessary
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and industrial cleaning methods
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards
- Excellent organizational skills and reliability in completing assigned duties
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Prior experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
