Teaching Support Assistant – 20hrs per week – Term Time Only

Goldenhill Primary Academy is looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Support Assistant to join our dedicated team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the class teacher and may be deployed flexibly across Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on the needs of the school.
The role will involve supporting individual pupils and small groups, helping children to access learning, supporting pupils with additional needs, preparing resources, contributing to assessments and promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. The attached job description highlights the importance of working with pupils of all abilities, supporting SEND interventions, contributing to assessment, preparing learning resources and nurturing pupils’ social and emotional development.

- Is willing to take part in training and professional development.
Applicants should hold at least an NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent full and relevant qualification.
