Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale G: £29,516 to £31,540 pro-rata per annum (Actual) (£31,537 - £33,699 full time/full year equivalent)

This role will be based at the Maths Hub, 5 Surrey Street, Norwich, NR1 3NX.
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated Support Lead to join our Maths Hub.
This is an exciting time for the Maths Team within the Inspiration Trust. The strong and dedicated Maths team already works throughout the Inspiration Trust schools and leads the Angles Maths Hub supporting schools throughout Norfolk and Suffolk with maths professional development. We need an enthusiastic and committed individual to provide operational support within our support team. The role is an important role and will involve varied work, including liaising with schools, booking places on training programmes, monitoring and recording finance transactions, supporting Work Group Leads and line managing other staff, etc. It will be interesting and varied and will suit applicants with a positive ‘can do’ attitude who are inspired to develop strategic systems and who aspire to work within and be an essential part of a strong and supportive team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- To provide operational and clerical support services to a high standard, supporting management, other office staff, teachers, students and parents in an efficient, positive, professional and effective manner.
- To organise and facilitate events related to the Maths Hub including supporting online and face to face.
- To maintain events calendar and monitor progress of work to fulfil all requirements for the NCETM.
- To organise and attend meetings and provide secretarial support to the Maths Hub team leaders.
- To manage communications with stakeholders.
- To support the administration of Maths Hub finance.
- To line manage the Maths Hub administrative assistant.
About You:
The successful candidate will have meticulous organisation, high efficiency and pro-active approach to work, clear communication, emotional intelligence, and adaptable problem-solving. You will also be a good team player, modelling integrity and driving continuous improvement in your team.
Essential:
- Good numeracy and literacy skills/GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
- Experience in administrative and strategic office work
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Excellent IT experience and be familiar with Office 365
Desirable:
- Experience working in an education environment
- Experience of line management including performance management
