Solar Roofer – Cardiff / Bristol
Location: Cardiff / Bristol (travel across South Wales & South West as required)
Salary: £35,000 per annum + Company Van + Benefits
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Solar Roofer to join our growing renewable energy team. You'll be responsible for carrying out roofing works associated with domestic solar PV installations, ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Install roof mounting systems for Solar PV on pitched and tiled roofs.
- Complete roofing works, including tile removal, replacement, flashing, and weatherproofing.
- Assess roof condition before installation and report any defects.
- Work alongside electricians to complete Solar PV installations.
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment on customer sites.
Requirements
- Previous roofing experience (essential).
- Solar PV roofing experience preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Experience working on slate, tile, and pitched roofs.
- CSCS card preferred.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Comfortable working at height and travelling between sites.
