About the Company
Our client is a highly respected manufacturer of bespoke furniture and luxury interiors, producing exceptional craftsmanship for prestigious residential projects across the UK and internationally. With an outstanding reputation for quality, they are looking to appoint an experienced Furniture Polisher to lead their polishing department.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Furniture Polisher to take ownership of a busy polishing workshop, working on everything from individual bespoke furniture pieces to large fitted joinery installations for luxury residential projects.
Alongside hands-on polishing, you'll play an important role in maintaining quality standards, planning workloads and supporting the wider production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Furniture polishing, staining and finishing to an exceptional standard
- Ordering polishing materials and managing stock levels
- Producing and managing finish samples with the office team
- Liaising with Workshop and Project Managers to prioritise workloads and meet project deadlines
- Carrying out quality inspections on completed work
- Supervising and supporting a polishing assistant
About You
You'll be an experienced Furniture Polisher with a genuine passion for producing flawless finishes.
You'll ideally have experience with:
- Staining solid timber
- Factory spray finishing
- Occasional high-gloss finishes
- Working on high-end bespoke furniture or joinery
- Maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Organising your own workload and communicating effectively with colleagues
Leadership or supervisory experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
