This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering consistent Monday to Friday work, local delivery routes and regular hours.

- Position: 7.5 Tonne (C1) Driver
- Pay: £15.07 per hour PAYE
- Holiday Pay: Paid separately – not included in the £15.07 rate
- Overtime: Enhanced overtime rates available
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 09:00–17:45
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours
- Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm
- Immediate starts available
The Role
You will be working on local collection and delivery routes, completing approximately 30 stops per day.
The role involves:
- Driving a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on designated routes
- Completing approximately 30 collections and deliveries per day
- Loading and unloading parcels and goods safely
- Using sack barrows, hand trucks and other handling equipment
- Operating handheld devices to manage deliveries and update route information
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Providing professional customer service at delivery locations
- Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently
Requirements
- Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Ideally 12 months' recent 7.5 Tonne driving experience
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable with manual handling and loading/unloading
- Reliable, professional and punctual
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
