MAIN PURPOSE:
1. Deliver a comprehensive and innovative learning programme to Study Programme learners.
2. Manage all documentation relating to the study programme.
3. Monitor contract activity.
4. Ensure you adhere to all safeguarding procedures/Prevent duty. Report any concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Officer.
5. Deliver other related training programmes as necessary.
6. Provide reports for the organisation in relation to all aspects of provision.
7. Provide support for your line manager.
8. Any other duties as designated by your manager.
Performance Standards
1. Produce lesson plans and scheme of work for the study programme and review annually.
2. Recruit and Interview prospective clients to ensure programme suitability.
3. Deliver all strands of the study programme to include vocational, employability and functional skills.
4. Ensure learner progression, e.g., functional skills, is achieved.
5. Assess/verify learners in line with Awarding Body requirements.
6. Ensure all documentation relating to the programme is completed and submitted within timescales.
7. Find and monitor suitable work placements for study programme learners.
8. Carry out health & safety appraisals on companies in line with GK Training Services Limited’s procedures.
9. Develop study programme in line with Government changes.
Contract Delivery:
1. Ensure that outcome targets are met in respect of contractual requirements.
2. Ensure all activity relating to contracts are delivered within timescales with emphasis on achieving 65% client progression into positive outcomes.
3. Ensure that monitoring, reviews, assessment, and internal quality assurance activities are undertaken in accordance with required frequencies.
Safeguarding
1. Monitor the policy and any cases of reported allegations or risk when they arise.
2. Receive information about programmes that are planned that may involve young people or vulnerable adults to ensure safeguarding is covered.
3. Report any safeguarding concerns immediately to the Designated Safeguarding Officer
4. Assess the information promptly and carefully, clarifying and obtaining more information about the matter, as appropriate.
5. Make a formal referral to a statutory child safeguarding agency as appropriate.
6. Promote and support safer recruitment practice.
7. Minimise the risk of misplaced or malicious allegations made against adults who work with children and young people.
8. Reduce the incidence of positions of trust being abused or misused.
9. Comply with The Prevent Duty and report any concerns to Designated Safeguarding Officer immediately in relation to learners, staff and/or members of the public.
Qualifications - A teaching qualification is preferred (but not essential - as this can be worked towards as part of your development as a Study Programme Tutor)
TAQA or equivalent
English/maths GCSE Grade 4 and above or equivalent.
Any other qualifications that are relevant to the role.
Pay: From £26,500.00 per year
