Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative and FLT Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be required to participate at the end of the packing line, ready to distribute product from the warehouse. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a high level of physical fitness. The role includes responsibility for goods in/goods out, allergen segregation, FIFO stock management, and supporting warehouse operations including forklift driving.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Packing product at the end of the line to customer specification and palletising correctly for dispatch, ensuring pallets are wrapped, packaged, and labelled accurately.
- Managing goods in and goods out processes
- Ensuring allergen segregation and correct bay management at all times
- Issuing materials using FIFO principles and maintaining accurate stock rotation
- Using internal systems (e.g., Notazone and OEE) and stock management tools to optimise traceability, stock control, and reporting
- Completing all required documentation with accuracy
- Supporting stock takes, stock control, and reporting activities
- General maintenance of the warehouse, ensuring areas remain tidy, clean, and safe
- Loading and unloading materials, wrapping pallets, and lifting boxes safely
- Participating in team meetings, providing input, and reporting as required
- Undertaking other duties as delegated, including covering factory lines when needed
Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
