We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring the smooth operation of the coffee/matcha and juice shop. Previous experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided to develop your skills further.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a range of beverages including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and engaging with customers in a friendly manner.
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately using cash or card systems.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including cleaning equipment and dining areas regularly.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
- Assist in stock replenishment and inventory checks as needed.

Experience
- Previous barista experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the role.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
- Basic food preparation skills are preferred.
- Good basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
