We are now looking for a proactive and organised Sales Support Administrator to join our busy and supportive Sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to play an important role behind the scenes of a successful sales operation.
The Role
You will provide essential administrative support to the Sales team, helping ensure customer orders, deliveries, and communications run smoothly and efficiently.
This role would suit someone who is highly organised, confident communicating with customers and colleagues, and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and amending customer orders
- Scheduling and coordinating delivery slots
- Supporting customers with quotes and online orders
- Handling incoming calls and directing enquiries professionally
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Printing and processing online orders, pick sheets, and pick lists
- Creating purchase orders and fulfilment documentation
- Liaising with customers regarding payments when required
- Maintaining organised filing systems and general office administration
- 42.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday (plus Saturday AM on a rota basis)
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Organised, proactive, and able to prioritise workload effectively
- Calm under pressure and comfortable working to deadlines
- Professional, confident, and polite when communicating
- Computer literate, with experience using Microsoft Office
- Comfortable learning new systems and software
- Experienced in a previous office-based administrative role
Horticultural experience is not essential, but an interest in plants and the industry would certainly be an advantage.
