Full Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Electric Gate, Doors, Roller Shutter Engineer / Handyman to join our growing team.
The role involves the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and repair of:
- Automated / Electric Gates
- Electric Roller Shutters
- Automatic Doors
- Door Entry & Intercom Systems
- CCTV
- Automatic Barriers
You will work on residential, commercial, and industrial projects across Essex and London.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning.
- Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive call-outs and emergency repairs
- Fault finding and electronic low-voltage troubleshooting
- Controller and PLC configuration
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety requirements
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in automated gate or access control installations is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided.
- Good practical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
- CSCS Card, DHF Certification, or CDP qualification would be advantageous, but are not essential.
